Lisa Venema is the daughter of  accomplished artist and college professor, Dr Norval C Kern.  She's been creating artwork in the field of aviation since 1987.   She left behind an intended career in Advertising Design as her portfolio of F/A-18 Hornet drawings developed while her husband was stationed aboard Marine Corps Air Station in El Toro,  CA.  Limited Edition prints soon followed as demand grew for her drawings among F-18 squadron members. It was a match within an aviation community that fell into place, extending to other aircraft and continued through various duty stations.
